stay away from [credits to Piracy wiki]
second you need sources to download roms these are the best sites + some tips
sites :

No intro romset ( you can download it directly without a torrent you CAN FROM HERE ) (If you don't want to download the whole romset for the system press view content )
AlvRo's Collection
Vimm's Lair
The Eye
GamesTorrents ( of course if u can torrent )
MEGA-ROM
N(itro)blog
THE MEGATHREAD

Retrostic
ROMulation
If u Want to Check if the site is safe go to here and comment ur site url
Tips :
Tip #1 : If you're in a country that hate piracy like USA or Germany ( i think Germany have dmca or something ?? idk ) etc. stay away from torrent and stay away from http sites
( download Https Everywhere extension and enable encrypt all sites eligible option by pressing on the icon of https everywhere ) even if your browser included with it . because it will warn you if the site is http...
Tip #2 : FBI will not raid your house ( because fbi will not waste there time on you )
Tip #3 : https is your best friend because it's encrypted that means if you go to a https roms site
your isp will see (random numbers and letters) .com/.net/.org/.to/.site etc.
Tip #4 : install an adblock i suggest Ublock Origin
Tip #5 : install a pop-up blocker if you have a chromium based browser like Brave, Chrome, New Edge etc. i suggest this ( if you know a better one please give me the link ) poperblocker
Tip #6 The MegaThread is your OTHER BEST FRIEND if you want an rom head to the megathread and press ctrl + F and search ;)
Tip #7 DON'T DO NOT OPEN ANY ANY ANY .MSI .EXE/.DMG/.DEB or ANY OTHER FILE THAT you CAN OPEN WITHOUT AN EMULATOR THE FILE IT'S 2000% A VIRUS ( EXCEPT WHEN you DOWNLOAD RETRO ARCH [ or any other emulator OF COURSE ] ) AND DON'T OPEN .BAT FILES IT CAN DELETE SYSTEM32 FILE AND IT'S ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT FILES IN WINDOWS
Tip #8 Emulating is Legal but Downloading ROMs is ILEGAL ( OF COURSE IF you're LIVING IN A COUNTRY THAT DMCA IS A HOLY THING ) ;-)
Tip #9 If you're suspicious of a file u can scan it on VirusTotal or Hybird Analysis ( you need to upload the file because it will open it on a vm in there sever ).
Tip #10 I recommend using a controller if you have a xbox controller just connect it to your pc and you're good to go BUT if you have a dualshock controller (ps controller )
use DS4 Windows ( if you have a windows pc ) ( I Know it's the fork bc the og creator stopped working on it in 2016 or somthing like that )
or any other controller .
Tip #11 If you download a rom and it came in .rar .zip .7z .r001( if the rom came with multiple files like .r001 .r002 .r003... you need to extract just a one file) etc. you can use 7-ZIP or Winrar ( don't worry 40 days trial doesn't end ).

Tip #12 if the rom came in this order rom.rar.exe don't think to open it and if you hide the extension file from showing from the file name it will show like rom.rar but it's actually a .exe or .dmg etc.

Tip #13 if you have a linux pc or a mac that doesn't mean you will not get infected even Temple OS have malwares ( if you don't what's a malware is just search ).
Tip #14 if u tired of link shorters and etc. use universal Bypass
Tip #15 Some good emulators :
Dolphin a wii and gamecube emulator ( check the compatibility list to check if the game work )
Citra 3DS emulator ( check the compatibility list to check if the game work )
BSNES HD beta if u want to play snes games on HD
PCSX2 the best ps2 emulator
EPSXE a little bit old but it's good (ps1)
DON'T use zsnes ( i guy on the comments said that )
RPCS3 PS3 ( check the compatibility list to check if the game work )
Xenia Xbox 360 ( check the compatibility list to check if the game work )
Cemu WiiU Emulator ( check the compatibility list to check if the game work )
a Decryptor for 3ds games if citra won't open the rom HERE
DS DeSmuME (OLD) ( if u have a good ds emulator give me the link pls )
Project64 N64
DOSBox DOS emulator ( check the compatibility list to check if the game work )
IF U HAVE any other emulator pls link it in the comments <3
Tip #16
Romsmania
CoolRoms
etc. are NOT SAFE
if you have any other tips share it =)

Checker Thread (A list of hacked clients for easy reference)

Community contribution is the only way this thread will be useful. This is a WIP! More clients will be added as time goes on!
Quick note: The vast majority of these are files supplied by the community -- some may not work. The person who sent me 9b9t says it doesn't work, but I have not personally tested. Please let me know if it works or does not work.

Some additional notes:
I am open to community criticism so long as it can actually be used to benefit the thread. Issues with formatting, approach, client choice, etc. are all great things to come talk to me about so I may improve. However, people keep commenting the same things over and over and over — “VirusTotal can’t catch X” is a popular one — and I don’t have time to deal with it. If you have a security concern, you are more than welcome to raise it. HOWEVER, do not make unreasonable requests of me — I work, in addition to that I have a social life, I have responsibilities at home as well. This is a side thing that I do when I have the time. A lot of people have suggested looking through bytecode to determine if a client is malicious. I do not have the time to do this for every client. If you are willing to help and do more than say “you should do more than you already are, even though you have a job and a life outside of an obscure subreddit,” feel free to DM me. People who take the broken record approach and say things that are already covered in the thread, or refuse to offer help and just post complaints, will be blocked and ignored. I’m all down for making this post better, but I’m not gonna waste my time with people who won’t work with me. Thank you for your help!

BIG THANKS TO u/jpie726 FOR HIS MASSIVE CONTRIBUTIONS! WITHOUT HIM THIS LIST WOULD BE SIGNIFICANTLY LESS EXPANSIVE. GO UPVOTE THIS MAN INTO HEAVEN, HE DESERVES IT!

Eventually I would like to make a Python script that takes care of all the necessary tasks to install these clients. Python itself is available through the Windows Store as well as on Python's website, or through various other installers. It will install any additional dependencies via Pip and will use Curl to retrieve the files. Anyone interested in helping with this script is more than welcome to do so, if you wish. The two options for assisting me would be as follows:
1. You can install Visual Studio Code or Atom and work with me directly through those applications (more details soon™)
2. A GitHub page may be made and you could submit pull requests through that and edit the script alone.

#######################################################################
There is a misconception that I am only here for free paid clients.
1. I can't use a paid client unless I have access to a cracked version, an account, and the HWID bound to said account.
2. People are also saying there's a way for clients to track if someone leaks them. While I suppose this is possible if they bothered to put in the absurd amount of effort it would take, it would give them no benefit and it would do no good as I am not running the software on my desktop -- I am sending the software to VirusTotal, grabbing the SHA-256 checksum, and deleting the file.
3. If all you're going to do is post that "VirusTotal can't catch x" or "muh client" do not waste my time, and don't waste yours. You will be ignored in favor of people who will actually help me construct what I hope to be a megathread for this subreddit, FOR YOU GUYS. I mean jeez, someone's trying to help and half the fucking responses are "muh client" like come on. No wonder this fucking subreddit is dead, sheesh. If someone's trying to help you and you just step on their toes that's just not very cool, not everyone is trying to scam you. I do just be trying to help people who come here doe.
4. If you have concerns, raise them respectfully. Do not attack me, you will be ignored or if I feel so inclined I will give you 110% of the shit you give me right back to you. I will answer questions, I will elaborate on my goals, I will take helpful advice. Everything else will be outright ignored, and misinformation will be countered. That is all, thread below.
#######################################################################

I named this the Checker Thread to make it easy to search for in the subreddit. Enjoy.Below will be a list of hacked clients, with VirusTotal links, SHA-256 hashes, direct download links (skipping ad pages) and eventually features for each client. I'd also like to add what servers they do and don't work on, but I need the community to help with that.
The only client I use is Impact, send me additional clients in the comments and they will be added to this list.

Note about SHA-256 hashes:
SHA-256 hashes are a hash of a file produced algorithmically. This type of hash was developed by the United States National Security Agency, and is typically used to verify that files are what they are supposed to be. Widely used in cryptographic applications such as SSH, APT repositories, transactions on websites, verifying files, Bitcoin, and more. It is very common. This type of cryptographic hash has been in use since 2001. An SHA-256 hash will be the exact same for the same file regardless of the source of the file, so if your hash is different from the one listed here you do not have the legitimate installer OR the hash is not up-to-date.

Note about VirusTotal tests:
Several people have pointed out to me something I feel should be brought up in the main thread. VirusTotal is not a catch-all, just as your typical antivirus software is not a catch-all. It will not catch everything. It should be used as a general guideline only. Clean VirusTotal tests do not guarantee your safety, although if the program passes all ~70 or so antivirus engines it's probably safe to use. Any additional malicious activity should be caught by your antivirus program's heuristics. I take no responsibility for anything that is malicious, but I can say in good conscience that I have done everything I can to ensure that everything on this thread is safe. Keep in mind that programs that trip VirusTotal may still be safe to use, antivirus programs often pick up injectors as malware or Trojans because that's how those types of viruses behave in the real world. Use your best judgement. If your best judgement is not good enough, do not use these programs. You have been warned.

Note: The file is called AceHackGold-n3.0-release.jar in VirusTotal. The client is identified as Atlas in the .nfo file it came bundled with.
Atlas triggered 7/59 engines.
Note: Upon closer inspection of the VirusTotal scan, the client appears to be of the injected flavor. Injectors are commonly a false positive Trojan. The client appears to be safe, and there was nothing particularly noteworthy in the VirusTotal scan that is atypical for an injector. While this makes the file appear to be safe, use with caution.

Heres some proof about sigma not being a trojan and omikron client proof from the sigma creator andro

The high GPU usage is due to the GPU acceleration or the UIs. And this is not comparable to other person's GPU usage since every GPU behave differently. You can compare this usage with vanilla 1.15.2's GPU usage. In my personal case, it's about +1~8% higher.
And the overall performance loss over the 1.8 clients is due to the 1.15 itself, the heavy UI, the missing optimisations (performance update soon), the obfuscation, etc
Some people are saying that "conhost.exe" is a malware... It's actually the console process spawned by java.exe which is used by Sigma (instead of the javaw.exe, the window version of java.exe without the console, that is mostly used for Minecraft).
Fun fact: Badlion client and Lunar client are also spawning conhost, and they aren't getting called out as malwares.
Here's a great explanation of what it is: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/4996/what-is-conhost.exe-and-why-is-it-running/

And Omikron client was not a bitcoin miner, here's the copypasta :
Omikron client didn't have any btc miner / rat / botnet or whatever. The thing running in background was a system to validate the usage of the auto alt / proxy from other computers. Therefore, if you used auto alt / auto proxy, your computer among others validated in some sort of P2P the usage of alts / proxies. If >50% of computers says that a "transaction" is good, it was validated. Omikron decided to do that to counter the abuse of auto alt / auto proxy.
But ofc you could disable that autorun in Omikron Client's setting. And it was clearly written in the client that it would autorun (but no body really read it) if you use auto alts / auto proxy.
Edit, another copypasta:
I know, this is missleading. In the code, finding alts is refenrenced as "mining" them because you have this usepass combo and sometime yay ! Its a working minecraft alt ! The whole problem about all this drama is that its old code written when the client was "ghost client" and putting it in a .m file intead of .minecraft, having the package not named omikron, not using omikron domain name in the code was a good idear to prevent memory scanning cheating software such as BLSquad to find "omikron" but as you can tell it has bring more trouble that anything. You shoudn't be scared, your cpu isn't and wont be used to mine crypto or any unwanted activity and you will soon be able to chose if you want the service to run. In the next release, beside the fact that all of this was moved to .minecraft/Omikron, using proper domain name etc, you will be able to choose if you are using the client and want the background service running to find alts or if you have the client installed but not using it you will be able to disable the background service.
The video that is spreading about Omikron client is only proving that it downloads an autorun, and runs it in the background, which is intended.

Be careful of people trying to spread that Sigma could be a virus. Most of the time, they're made up by people who are clueless and don't know about what they're talking about (ex: conhost).

Groestlcoin 6th Anniversary Release

Introduction

Dear Groestlers, it goes without saying that 2020 has been a difficult time for millions of people worldwide. The groestlcoin team would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone our best to everyone coping with the direct and indirect effects of COVID-19. Let it bring out the best in us all and show that collectively, we can conquer anything.
The centralised banks and our national governments are facing unprecedented times with interest rates worldwide dropping to record lows in places. Rest assured that this can only strengthen the fundamentals of all decentralised cryptocurrencies and the vision that was seeded with Satoshi's Bitcoin whitepaper over 10 years ago. Despite everything that has been thrown at us this year, the show must go on and the team will still progress and advance to continue the momentum that we have developed over the past 6 years.
In addition to this, we'd like to remind you all that this is Groestlcoin's 6th Birthday release! In terms of price there have been some crazy highs and lows over the years (with highs of around $2.60 and lows of $0.000077!), but in terms of value– Groestlcoin just keeps getting more valuable! In these uncertain times, one thing remains clear – Groestlcoin will keep going and keep innovating regardless. On with what has been worked on and completed over the past few months.

UPDATED - Groestlcoin Core 2.18.2

This is a major release of Groestlcoin Core with many protocol level improvements and code optimizations, featuring the technical equivalent of Bitcoin v0.18.2 but with Groestlcoin-specific patches. On a general level, most of what is new is a new 'Groestlcoin-wallet' tool which is now distributed alongside Groestlcoin Core's other executables.
NOTE: The 'Account' API has been removed from this version which was typically used in some tip bots. Please ensure you check the release notes from 2.17.2 for details on replacing this functionality.

ALL NEW - Groestlcoin Moonshine iOS/Android Wallet

Built with React Native, Moonshine utilizes Electrum-GRS's JSON-RPC methods to interact with the Groestlcoin network.
GRS Moonshine's intended use is as a hot wallet. Meaning, your keys are only as safe as the device you install this wallet on. As with any hot wallet, please ensure that you keep only a small, responsible amount of Groestlcoin on it at any given time.

ALL NEW! – HODL GRS Android Wallet

HODL GRS connects directly to the Groestlcoin network using SPV mode and doesn't rely on servers that can be hacked or disabled.
HODL GRS utilizes AES hardware encryption, app sandboxing, and the latest security features to protect users from malware, browser security holes, and even physical theft. Private keys are stored only in the secure enclave of the user's phone, inaccessible to anyone other than the user.
Simplicity and ease-of-use is the core design principle of HODL GRS. A simple recovery phrase (which we call a Backup Recovery Key) is all that is needed to restore the user's wallet if they ever lose or replace their device. HODL GRS is deterministic, which means the user's balance and transaction history can be recovered just from the backup recovery key.

ALL NEW! – GroestlcoinSeed Savior

Groestlcoin Seed Savior is a tool for recovering BIP39 seed phrases.
This tool is meant to help users with recovering a slightly incorrect Groestlcoin mnemonic phrase (AKA backup or seed). You can enter an existing BIP39 mnemonic and get derived addresses in various formats.
To find out if one of the suggested addresses is the right one, you can click on the suggested address to check the address' transaction history on a block explorer.

ALL NEW! – Vanity Search Vanity Address Generator

NOTE: NVidia GPU or any CPU only. AMD graphics cards will not work with this address generator.
VanitySearch is a command-line Segwit-capable vanity Groestlcoin address generator. Add unique flair when you tell people to send Groestlcoin. Alternatively, VanitySearch can be used to generate random addresses offline.
If you're tired of the random, cryptic addresses generated by regular groestlcoin clients, then VanitySearch is the right choice for you to create a more personalized address.
VanitySearch is a groestlcoin address prefix finder. If you want to generate safe private keys, use the -s option to enter your passphrase which will be used for generating a base key as for BIP38 standard (VanitySearch.exe -s "My PassPhrase" FXPref). You can also use VanitySearch.exe -ps "My PassPhrase" which will add a crypto secure seed to your passphrase.
VanitySearch may not compute a good grid size for your GPU, so try different values using -g option in order to get the best performances. If you want to use GPUs and CPUs together, you may have best performances by keeping one CPU core for handling GPU(s)/CPU exchanges (use -t option to set the number of CPU threads).

ALL NEW! – Electrum Personal Server

Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server aims to make using Electrum Groestlcoin wallet more secure and more private. It makes it easy to connect your Electrum-GRS wallet to your own full node.
It is an implementation of the Electrum-grs server protocol which fulfils the specific need of using the Electrum-grs wallet backed by a full node, but without the heavyweight server backend, for a single user. It allows the user to benefit from all Groestlcoin Core's resource-saving features like pruning, blocks only and disabled txindex. All Electrum-GRS's feature-richness like hardware wallet integration, multi-signature wallets, offline signing, seed recovery phrases, coin control and so on can still be used, but connected only to the user's own full node.
Full node wallets are important in Groestlcoin because they are a big part of what makes the system be trust-less. No longer do people have to trust a financial institution like a bank or PayPal, they can run software on their own computers. If Groestlcoin is digital gold, then a full node wallet is your own personal goldsmith who checks for you that received payments are genuine.
Full node wallets are also important for privacy. Using Electrum-GRS under default configuration requires it to send (hashes of) all your Groestlcoin addresses to some server. That server can then easily spy on your transactions. Full node wallets like Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server would download the entire blockchain and scan it for the user's own addresses, and therefore don't reveal to anyone else which Groestlcoin addresses they are interested in.
Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server can also broadcast transactions through Tor which improves privacy by resisting traffic analysis for broadcasted transactions which can link the IP address of the user to the transaction. If enabled this would happen transparently whenever the user simply clicks "Send" on a transaction in Electrum-grs wallet.
Note: Currently Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server can only accept one connection at a time.

Fun out-of-the-box web commands for Windows 10

No WSL required; these commands work in the command prompt without any setup whatsoever:
finger [email protected] - a nice meteogram (also works in XP/Vista/7/8 by default) ssh redditbox.us - a CLI Reddit client ssh netris.rocketnine.space - multiplayer tetris ssh sshtron.zachlatta.com - a multiplayer Tron clone ssh [email protected] - a fun roguelike game ssh [email protected] -p 2222 - guess free minesweeper; Pass: play ssh brow.sh - a CLI internet browser (I haven't been able to click on things unless I'm running it on macOS or Linux) ssh chat.shazow.net - a chat room full of strangers ssh [email protected] - play various games including checkers curl https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observations/metastations/KATL.TXT - METAR, replace KATL with any other ICAO curl parrot.live - a cute parrot animation curl https://icanhazdadjoke.com - shitty jokes curl pseudorandom.name - generates a random name curl dict://dict.org/d:computer - dictionary curl 12.io/ip - fetches your IP curl ipinfo.io/8.8.8.8 - fetches your geolocation
If you enter “reg add HKCU\Console /v VirtualTerminalLevel /t REG_DWORD /d 1” then ANSI escape sequences will format correctly, which allows the following additional commands to output correctly: (and it colors the parrot)
curl wttr.in/moon - see the current phase of the moon curl http://getnews.tech - see the top headlines curl cheat.sh - the home display for sub commands to programming resources curl cmc.rjldev.com - get coinmarketcap top 100 cryptocurrencies
If you navigate to "Control panel -> Regional settings -> Administrative tab-> Change system locale" and activate "Beta: Use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support" the following additional curl commands will also output correctly, IF you're using an advanced command line application such as Cmder or the new Windows Terminal:
curl rate.sx - bitcoin prices curl rate.sx/[email protected] - bitcoin trend graph curl qrenco.de/STRING - replace string and generate a QR code curl wttr.in/cityname - get the weather forecast for your city curl v2.wttr.in/cityname - get a graphical weather forecast for your city
These commands are now possible on Windows 10 since support for finger, ssh, and curl was added and enabled by default. You can setup a doskey for cmd aliases. Note that curl commands in PowerShell must be entered as curl.exe. There are also some fun telnet game servers as well as the Star Wars Episode IV ASCII movie (alternatively you can watch it with Netcat on port 23, "nc towel.blinkenlights.nl 23" which can be installed with Scoop, also try "nc rya.nc 1987") but the telnet feature must be manually enabled (run "dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:TelnetClient") and its known for being an insecure protocol. If you still choose to enable it, here's a bitcoin ticker and some fun game servers:
 telnet ticker.bitcointicker.co 10080 telnet freechess.org telnet aardmud.org telnet telehack.com telnet milek7.gq telnet mud.darkerrealms.org 2000
I'd recommend Scoop as well as Pip (bundled with Python installation, which can be installed through Scoop and includes twitter and term2048) if you enjoyed these commands and would like more. Let me know if there's any commands that I should add to this list, I found most of them here!

[DISCUSSION] Community Supreme Bot (CSB) Official Release (V3) (Free Open Source Tool for Copping Supreme)

Source code:
https://github.com/danielyc/csb
Website (redirect) csb.center
What is CSB?
CSB or Community Supreme Bot is a project that has been in development for nearly a year now. Previously known as FESBSC, CSB is a completely free open source bot to cop clothing items from Supreme. Evidently, a market for Supreme bots has developed within the Supreme Community. This market has become saturated with bots that seldom work at prices exceeding hundreds of dollars. The CSB project is an attempt to remove these huge paywalls, allowing all members of the Supreme community a fair chance in copping the items they want without any extra burdens on their wallet. This being said, CSB is still in development and success will never be 100% guaranteed. However, we are constantly working on the bot in order to raise the success rate with ambitious yet capable plans for the future involving new tech which has never been utilised within this field. Currently CSB is being developed by a two man team: me – Tom, also known as HA6Bots and Daniel commonly referred to as Danielyc on forums. We have been working very hard throughout the summer to create a stable and functioning bot in preparation for the fall/winter season 2018. This being said, we are proud to release CSB V3.0. Again, we emphasise that the bot is a work in progress and success is not guaranteed. By downloading and using this tool, you as an individual are responsible for the output whether you successfully purchase your item or not. We accept no responsibility for any mishaps that may occur.

FAQ
How do I use CSB?
We have written up a detailed set of instructions which can be found at csb.center. Included in the download is readme which also contains these instructions.
Are my payment details safe?
Yes. The bot itself (the python scripts) does not connect to any servers. The tool itself is completely client side, payment details (if chosen) are kept on your personal device in an encrypted .cnf file located within your CSB folder directory. The user has the option of saving payment and billing details when prompted to. Again, I repeat this is stored in an encrypted .cnf file which is only accessible via your personal password. Alternatively, the user does not have to save these details and can use the program as normal. The source code is on GitHub at https://github.com/danielyc/csb and can be analysed for complete transparency.
How was CSB made?
CSB is made with python. We utilise several libraries in order to make the bot functional. Selenium is used with chromedriver to replicate user interactions with the Supreme website. We use PyQt5 for the UIs. We are planning to replace Selenium and the chromedriver in the near future with our own custom library which will utilise Image recognition technology.
Why is CSB free?
There are several reasons why the CSB project is free:

  1. We want to send a message to the companies that have been exploiting the Supreme Community for years with extortionate fees for outdated bots that barely work: This is not a productive use of technology and is a business model that is unethical and out-right shady. We want to show that the prices that have been charged by these companies and individuals are completely artificial – if two people can create a bot at no other expense then a few hours a day, why are single use bots going for $200+?
  2. The bot is still in development. The bot will always be in development. This is the nature of bots – things keep getting updated, Supreme will always push out new changes to their website, so we will need to make sure the bot is responsive to all these changes. Thus there will always be an element or risk that the bot will not work. However small this risk might be, it will always exist and therefore there is always a chance it will not work. Even if there is a 1% chance that the bot will be unsuccessful, this means that one out of a hundred people would have wasted their money. The only solution to this issue is to keep the bot free.
  3. We like Supreme. The bot is a gift to the Supreme Community and gifts are free.
Will development be sustainable?
Currently CSB is being developed by two people – me (Tom) and Daniel. I will be working full time very soon while Daniel will start university in early September. However this will not stop us from continuing development on the bot. Last year we both had school and still managed to push out the first two versions of the bot. At the moment, apart from time – monetary costs are low. We are planning to further the project with some servers and a website in the near future. We will always keep the bot free for everyone to use. We may at some point look into different avenues for monetization such as advertisements but we will never introduce any paywalls that undermine the functionality and idea behind CSB.
How can I support the CSB project?
Like mentioned before CSB will and always will be free. We will never ask for any money as CSB is a gift to the community. You can support us by telling your friends/fellow Supreme users about CSB and help spread the word that a free and trustworthy bot exists. If you really want to support the project you can donate to our PayPal at https://www.paypal.me/supportcsb. We also have a Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet: BTC 32U1WNf47UXcmDuMoJ7vezKd7UGRXmqPFP ETH 0xd445FC2b12B15A0FcA52153a75956bAb843bD03a. We appreciate any donations of any amount. We will also add your name to the donor list in the credits section of the bot unless you say otherwise. The money will help finance any costs involved with the bot such as domains, websites, servers etc.
Will CSB completely automated? Is there anything I have to do manually?
Currently for CSB V3.0 we have not reached full automation. While the bot will automatically find and add the item to the basket as well as filling out all the billing/shipping details, a google Captcha will appear at the end. This is the only process the user manually has to complete. Once the Captcha is completed the purchase will be completed. We are working hard to bypass the Captcha and already have some prototype concepts in production. Please read the instructions located at the bottom of this document for more information.
Chrome and/or my antivirus blocked the file. Is the code malicious?
Much to our frustration, CSB is being flagged by some antivirus software. The code is not malicious in anyway at all and can be viewed within the GitHub. Please add main.exe as an exception with your respective antivirus software and you should be able to run the program.
What is the licencing for CSB?
CSB operates under GNU AGPLv3. You are free to use the tool however you want - as long as it is compliant with the licence.
What OS (Operating Systems) is CSB compatible with?
As of now, windows 7 through 10 and MacOS
Can I help with the production of CSB?
At the moment we are not looking for any new members to join the team. Currently, the project is not big enough for multiple people to work on it without causing greater inconveniences. This being said, you can still help us by emailing us crash reports to [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or open bugreports on the github page.
How can I get in contact with the CSB team?
You can get in contact with us by emailing [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])
If CSB worked as intended or you want to support the project, you can donate at https://www.paypal.me/supportcsb. Any amount is appreciated and we will add your name if you wish to the donor list which will be included on a later version Thanks! -HA6Bots and Danielyc

Running a full node over private VPN. Is there a guide?

Hi,
I've setup an OpenVPN server on a VPS. I am running a full node on my personal computer with only outbound connections and without inbound / incoming connections, because my ISP doesn't let me port forward any ports.
I've connected to my VPN as a client, and have enabled port forwarding on it by doing so:
/etc/sysctl.conf: net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1
Despite this, I'm unable to still have incoming connections over port 8333 even after being connected over the VPN. Are there any other iptable settings to be done for Post routing and pre routing? Is there any available guide for this?
Kindly help me out with this if anyone has setup one already.
Note: I'm running an OpenVPN access droplet on DigitalOcean over Ubuntu. Also on my personal computer, my firewall is already configured to allow inbound and outbound traffic via port 8333 (tcp/udp) through bitcoin-qt.exe.

Quick Intro to Gemini's API: Learn Some Python, Save on Fees (0.35%)

There's been recent Gemini news with their new platform rollout and increased fee schedule. I know many users are unhappy and looking for new exchanges. It can take awhile to get verified somewhere else, so in the meantime, this prompted me to learn a bit about using API's as I've never done so before. This is also coupled with my desire to eventually learn python. I took an afternoon and figured it out for myself and saved some money on fees. I'll share what I have so far with the Disclaimer that I am NOT a programmer; however, the code is pretty basic and somewhat self-explanatory.

I'm on Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. I installed the latest Python for Windows binary first. It installed x86 version of python; that is fine. Now you need two additional packages: requests and pywin32. Open a command prompt, also called cmd.exe, by finding it in accessories or searching for it. You can also hit Windows Key + R, type cmd then hit Enter. From here, try pip install requests or try python -m pip install requests Next install the pywin32 package pip install pywin32 or python -m pip install pywin32 You can also install its binary from here. You want to grab the version that matches your Python install not your OS bit. Mine was the last one, Win32 Py3.7. Take a read through Gemini's API reference page. It's okay if you don't understand everything. For placing orders, we're using the API private client, which requires you to generate a key and assign it a role. This can be done in Settings, API Settings. I assigned mine a role of Trader. I can still deposit/withdrawal on the web interface and don't need the API for that as there's no benefit really, for me at least. The API Key is akin to a public key, and the API Secret is akin to a private key. Instead of having my API secret sitting in plain text on my computer, I decided to keep it in my Trezor's password manager. The script that I edited/made, pulls the secret from the clipboard, submits the order, then clears the clipboard. This isn't as secure as my Bitcoin private keys, but to me, it reduces risk drastically and also prevents accidental buy orders.

Python scripts possess the extension, .py and if your computer is configured correctly, are directly executable by double-clicking them. For this use, I would recommend having a bit more control and running them through command prompt. In your main Windows user folder, create a folder called Gemini and put the two scripts there. There is a Test Secret script and a Buy Order Example script. You need to give these files the .py extension either by renaming them or opening in Notepad, resaving ending in .py with All Files as file type. Now, read through the scripts and paste in the required info. I would start with the Test Secret script to test your Python setup and see if you can pull a secret correctly from the clipboard. Go into the script and copy the practice secret. From the command prompt, navigate to this folder. My prompt starts in my user folder, so I can do cd Gemini and it should take you there. Now you can run the script by typing with the quotes "Test Secret.py" or python "Test Secret.py" You should see your secret twice, with the second one looking like b'some string of characters'. If you get a TypeError / Clipboard error, try copying the text again. If this is successful, edit the Buy Order Example script to create a new order, save the script. Copy your actual secret to the clipboard and run in command prompt in the same way. "Buy Order 1.py" Remember the Buy Order script is runnable, so once you copy your actual secret, it's locked and loaded. Be careful! I want to give a nod to mtusman who created the gemini-python client, link to github. This provides a more streamlined Python approach and covers all of the API's functionality. Let me know how it goes.

Understanding BIP149, redeployment of Segwit with BIP8

I recently published BIP149 and would like to take a few moments to explain the details of this proposal.
BIP149 is a completely new deployment of segwit, which I propose if the current BIP9/BIP141/143/147 segwit deployment fails to lockin/activate by November 15th.
BIP149 cannot be run on mainnet now, and there is code in the reference implementation to prevent it from running. It is incompatible with the current segwit deployment on purpose to remove unnecessary complications.
Essentially, the idea is, if the current segwit deployment fails to activate by Nov 15th, we can release new software that has BIP149. This uses BIP8 to activate segwit by July 2018. Miners will still be able to trigger activation by 95% threshold signalling as normal. In the 8 months from November to July 2018, nodes will be able to upgrade to BIP149. If segwit is not MASF activated by July 2018, there will be enough of the economy running BIP149 that nodes can begin enforcement. What will actually happen is on the first retarget after July 4th, the BIP8 state machine will switch to LOCKED_IN status for two weeks, and then on the following retarget, ACTIVATION will occur. The rationale here is in 5 months we achieved 70% saturation of witness capable nodes, so by the time segwit timesout with all the urgency and demand people feel for segwit, we can expect them to upgrade at least as fast, if not much faster. I have spoken with a number of developers who think this is a reasonable assumption.
Background, I had hoped to be able to release a BIP that can be deployed concurrently now with segwit, but, there are various technical complications in implementing it cleanly and making it easily reviewable. I had various feedback from others in previous iterations and in order to get the widest support from developers especially concerned with predictable results and thus safety, I came to the conclusion that the BIP will get the widest support by not attempting any shortcuts and by removing all complexity. I know many people want segwit now, but, I think we should just bite the bullet and do it the BIP149 way. I already made a shortcut BIP with BIP148. I will discuss the pros and cons at the end.
Back to BIP149, this is a completely new redeployment with a new service bit NODE_UAWITNESS and new compact block protocol version - doing this avoids many gotchyas which I will explain below:
Currently, segwit capable nodes advertize the NODE_WITNESS service bit and preferentially peer with other NODE_WITNESS nodes. Post activation, segwit-active nodes will then know who they should relay witness blocks to and who they should relay old style stripped blocks to. The assumption is if I am a NODE_WITNESS node and segwit has activated, then other NODE_WITNESS nodes will also be segwit activated. We cannot reuse NODE_WITNESS because when BIP149 activates, they would believe non-BIP149 NODE_WITNESS nodes were also active. Using a new service bit, and effectively starting a new deployment as if the previous deployment doesnt exist, is the most predictable and trouble free way to go about it.
Additionally, BIP149 is compatible with existing mining software by reusing the "segwit" name and deployment chainparams (it's not possible to have two deployments with the same name, one expired and one pending/active, due to how versionbits is implemented). In short, if the current segwit deployment fails to activate, we can reuse parts to maintain compatibility, while changing the bare minimum to remove any conflicts with old nodes. It's clean, predictable and easy to review.
BIP148 IS NOT BIP149
Remember BIP148 is exceptional, it's NOT what a usual UASF BIP should look like. A normal UASF if effectively activation on a predetermined date in the future (a flag day). BIP8 combines BIP9 miner signalling with a flagday if MASF does not occur.
How is BIP149 different to BIP148? So BIP148 is a UASF which can be used in two ways. (a) The economy can run BIP148 and basically force miners to signal for segwit, thus activating the current segwit deployment. Or, (b) a majority of miners, 60% or so, could run it and censor other miners who do not signal segwit, thus causing the current segwit to deploy. In method (a) a chain split will occur if any miners do not upgrade, and given the fact there are always absentee miners and pool operators, this is quite likely. It's the economy vs hash power saying "if you dont signal, your blocks will not be worth anything because we will reject them". In the case of (b) you have a majority of hashpower, who could use their majority to orphan any non signalling miners. This isn't great but it's less disruptive than (a) because there is a majority hashpower definitely opted in.
BIP149 on the other had does not guarantee a chain split since that could only happen if a miner deliberately takes action to manually create a segwit invalid block, which would be rejected by the economy. The incentives are different also, with BIP148 a chainsplit comes for free, regardless of if it lasts long or not. In BIP149, a miner would have to specifically take action to split and waste their money, which they could do at any time anyway. BIP149 is uncontroversial in the sense it is just a redeployment with guaranteed activation at the end, for a soft fork we are fairly sure people want and will upgrade to. The evidence is everywhere. UASFs deployed over a long time and a decent flagday are perfectly safe - all soft forks are enforced by nodes, even if activation is triggered by hashpower.
Anyway, we've got 8 months from now to review and think about BIP149 - it cannot be deployed until November. If you would like to show support for BIP149, feel free to add the following to your bitcoin.conf
uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP149
Note you can have multiple uacomments like:
uacomment=BIP8 uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP149 uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP148
You can find the bitcoin.conf file here
You can also just add this to a shortcut - create a shortcut (or edit the existing one you use) and add this to the end: -uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP149
e.g. (just add the property to the end like this):
"C:\Program Files\Bitcoin\bitcoin-qt.exe" -uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP149 if you are using Windows.
You can also just add uacomments as multiple command line/shortcut arguments like
-uacomment=BIP8 -uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP149 -uacomment=UASF-SegWit-BIP148
Then you can check here to see how your node is signalling at https://bitnodes.21.co/ will show something like: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8333 /Satoshi:0.14.1(UASF-SegWit-BIP149)/
If your node has synced and doesn't show using the link above make sure to enable forwarding of port 8333 so you accept incoming connections (if you want to that is) - in your client: go into settings / network and tick enable incoming connections and use upnp. You might have to add it to your firewall if this doesn't work. [taken from this user comment].

Is there any way to make an ABC node sync faster? Anything really?

This has been so painful to use that I'm likely killing it altogether. It has been for days on and off and I already had blockchain data from bitcoin core Qt stored up to mid 2017.
Now it is stuck syncing with the network in jan 2016 with an ETA of 11 days.
Anything to make this faster? Do -rescan -reindex do anything useful at all?
EDIT: I'm not a really "upgrade" guy so I never upgrade unless I need to, so I was still using windows 8.0 with a lot of "capped" stuff to improve security and speed. It so happens that one of the problems there was that windows 8.0 was NOT ending properly the client when closing it and I needed to manually kill it (also RAM handling was poorer). After some research I decided to upgrade to windows 10 (still possible to get for free even if you had a windows 8.0 license like mine for when it comes installed in your machine already - send a msg here if you want to know the best procedure).
Windows 10 properly handles ending the process, cleaning up RAM, and calling it back. Also, it seems to consume less resources to run ABC client. Just some hints here: windows 10 now uses PowerShell, not the old command shell, but PowShell does not accept commands such as -rescan -reindex as a default, so if you need to run a batch or start the client (or anything else like compiling c/c++ libraries, etc, etc) call cmd.exe instead, not worth the pain to read power shell documentation to execute pedestrian commands.

Zcash4win & Zcash4mac MEGATHREAD

This thread is for users to find information that is spread across many threads since zcash4win and zcash4mac are now depreciated.
What happened:
David Mercer the developer who worked on zcash4win and zcash4mac has decided stop allowing downloads of these (which are stuck on old versions) so it doesn't confuse new users since they not up-to-date. David is not part of Zcash Company and his software is open source. The only "Official" Zcash software is the Linux version.
Why
Rather than continue to update the zcash4win and zcash4mac code he has decided to create new wallet/node software from the ground up so it will be a better codebase/GUI and easier to update for the future. The new version will be called "winzec" and available at winzec.com when it is done.
What does this mean for zcash4win and zcash4mac users?
If you are currently running zcash4win or zcash4mac you don't need to do anything. The zcash4win and zcash4mac are just not available to download, they will continue to work until the Hard Fork expected in a few months.
Are the funds I have in zcash4win or zcash4mac lost?
No, remember the way all Blockchains like Zcash and Bitcoin work is that coins are on the Blockchain at all times. Your wallet has the Public and Private keys that allow you to spend from the addresses you control.
Help my wallet won't start!
Since the zcash4win version is version 1.0.12 (and the latest version is 1.0.15) you need to add disabledeprecation=1.0.12 to the configuration file as explained in this thread: https://forum.z.cash/t/required-config-change-for-zcash4win-1-0-12/26632
There is a Video of how to do this Here: https://youtu.be/VT06Nh6TTzw
This will keep the node from auto-depreciation and allow you to still use it until a the new version comes out or the Hard Fork when you will need to switch wallets.
If you do the above steps and it still won't sync you may have to reindex your chain:
Open a Command window and try:
C:\Program Files\zcash4win\app\zcashd.exe -reindex -daemon=0
NOTE: The above line is just an example and will need to be tweaked depending on your computers users/app location/etc..
If you are not familiar with how to run something from a Command line please see this tutorial: https://m.wikihow.com/Run-a-Program-on-Command-Prompt
What if I want to switch wallets?
To switch wallets you first need to determine if you want to use or have funds in a private address.
If you don't have funds in a private address and don't want to use private addresses then you can transfer your funds to many other wallets like Jaxx or a hardware wallet like a Ledger Nano.
I have a list of wallets here: https://www.zcashcommunity.com/wallets/
If you do have funds in a private address and don't want to send them to a transparent address read on:
Step 1 is setting up a new full node. You can install the Zcash Official Linux Client via this guide: https://github.com/zcash/zcash/wiki/1.0-User-Guide
There are several Videos on how install Zcash on Linux here:
https://youtu.be/5ahQZZYcntQ https://youtu.be/9-P7IHC7d-o https://youtu.be/noiPWhPT6sk
I have an very old written step-by-step tutorial about how to set up a VM and install Linux & Zcash here: https://minezcash.com/how-to-mine-zcash-part1/ (just ignore the last "mining steps)
Step 2 Is once you have a new Node running you have two choices: You can generate a new address to send the funds to the new wallet or transfer the wallet.dat file to the new node.
Instructions to get a backup of your wallet from zcash4win are here:
https://youtu.be/JGtpUnHTf2w
You can use that wallet.dat to restore your funds to any full node wallet Linux Windows or Mac.
The best part about running a the official client is that you can update as soon as an update is available directly from the Zcash developers! No more waiting for third party developers to push an update.
While you are here, take a second to backup your wallet.dat file to somewhere safe, preferably offline or on a separate computeUSB so in case of disaster you won't lose everything.
Please feel free to post questions in this thread, new threads on this subject will be closed and re-directed to this thread.

Dogecoin Core 1.7.0 released - Check in here for all info you need

Hi shibes!
The Dogecoin developers are proud to announce the final version of Dogecoin Core 1.7! After lots of coding, testing and swearing this is the next version of our reference client. It brings Dogecoin one big step forward on the technical side of things, with moving to the Bitcoin 0.9 codebase.
The full release notes are available here: https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/releases/tag/v1.7.0
TL;DR of the release notes
Is this mandatory? No, you can stay on 1.6 if you want for now. This update adds quite a few new features you'd miss out on.
How to update?
  1. Backup your wallet! This is very important! Go to File -> Backup Wallet, and save this file in at least two safe places for a good backup.
  2. Exit the client you're running now.
  3. Install the update
    1. For Windows, use the setup.exe to update. If you are using the new 64bit version you'll need to uninstall 1.6 afterwards.
    2. For Mac just overwrite the version you currently have in you Applications folder.
    3. For Linux you'd overwrite your current dogecoin-qt binary with the new one.
  4. Start the client. That's it :)
About going back to 1.6 Once you go to 1.7 there is no easy way back to 1.6. That's why it's important to have a backup of your wallet. Just in case. Be aware that a backup goes out of date after 100 transactions! Several people have been running 1.7 for a while now and see no problem with it, so you probably don't want to go back anyway ;)
Downloads (Listing here this time to make it easier to find)
Changes from RC1
Staying up to date If you want to easily stay up to date with releases, you can subscribe to the mailing list right here: http://sourceforge.net/p/dogecoin/mailman/dogecoin-releases/ That's especially advised if you are a service provider!
General comments For anyone running an exchange, please also note that in light of the 51% attack against Reddcoin last night, the Dogecoin developers now recommend a minimum of 10 confirmations for payments into an exchange.
Thanks Thanks to everyone who contributed so far! Especially leofidus-ger, rnicoll and patricklodder, who have done by far the most of the work for this release. But of course thanks to everyone else who contributed, may it be advice or code or whatever. Also thanks to the Bitcoin developers. And of course thanks to the Dogecoin community! You are what makes it fun to work on all this ;)

such beginner shibe thread wow how to get coin

how to shibecoin v rich in minutes much instruct so simple any doge can do

START HERE

UPDATE 1/21/14: I'm not updating this guide anymore. Most of the steps should still work though. See the wiki or check the sidebar for updated instructions.
Before you do anything else, you need to get a wallet. Until there's a secure online wallet, this means you need to download the dogecoin client.
Now open the client you just downloaded. You'll be given a default address automatically, and it should connect to peers and start downloading the dogechain (aka blockchain in formal speak). You'll know because there will be a progress bar at the bottom and at the lower right there should be a signal strength icon (TODO: add screenshots).
If you've waited 2 or 3 minutes and nothing is happening, copy this:
maxconnections=100 addnode=95.85.29.144 addnode=162.243.113.110 addnode=146.185.181.114 addnode=188.165.19.28 addnode=166.78.155.36 addnode=doge.scryptpools.com addnode=doge.netcodepool.org addnode=doge.pool.webxass.de addnode=doge.cryptopool.it addnode=pool.testserverino.de addnode=doge.luckyminers.com addnode=doge.cryptovalley.com addnode=miner.coinedup.comdoge addnode=doge.cryptoculture.net addnode=dogepool.pw addnode=doge.gentoomen.org addnode=doge.cryptominer.net addnode=67.205.20.10 addnode=162.243.113.110 addnode=78.46.57.132
And paste it into a new text file called dogecoin.conf, which you then place into the dogecoin app directory.
Now restart your qt client and the blockchain should start downloading in about 1-2 minutes.
Once it finished downloading, you're ready to send and receive Dogecoins!

GETTING COINS

Decide how you want to get Dogecoin. Your options are:
I'll go into detail about each of these. I'm currently writing this out. I'll make edits as I add sections. Suggestions are welcome.

MINING

Mining is how new dogecoins are created. If you're new to crypto currencies, read this. To mine (also called "digging"), a computer with a decent GPU (graphics card) is recommended. You can also mine with your CPU, but it's not as efficient.

GPU MINING

These instructions cover only Windows for now. To mine, you'll need to figure out what GPU you have. It'll be either AMD/ATI or Nvidia. The setup for both is approximately the same.

Step One: Choose a pool

There's a list of pools on the wiki. For now it doesn't really matter which one you choose. You can easily switch later.
NOTE: You can mine in two ways. Solo mining is where you mine by yourself. When you find a block you get all the reward. Pool mining is when you team up with other miners to work on the same block together. This makes it more likely that you'll find a block, but you won't get all of it, you'll have to split it up with others according to your share of the work. Pool mining is recommended because it gives you frequent payouts, because you find more blocks. The larger the pool you join, the more frequent the payouts, but the smaller the reward you get.
Over a long period of time the difference between pool and solo mining goes away, but if you solo mine it might be months before you get any coins.

Step two: Set up pool account

The pool you chose should have a getting started page. Read it and follow the instructions. Instructions vary but the general idea is:
When you're done with this, you'll need to know:

Step three: Download mining software

For best performance you'll need the right mining software.
Unzip the download anywhere you want.

Step four: Set up miner

Create a text file in the same folder as your miner application. Inside, put the command you'll be running (remove brackets).
For AMD it's cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://: -u -p
For Nvidia it's cudaminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://: -O :
Substitute the right stuff in for the placeholders. Then on the next line of the text file type pause. This will let you see any errors that you get. Then save the file with any name you want, as long as the file extension is .bat. For example mine_serverName.bat.

Step five: Launch your miner

Just open the .bat file and a command line window should pop up, letting you know that the miner is starting. Once it starts, it should print out your hash rate.
If you now go to the pool website, the dashboard should start showing your hashrate. At first it'll be lower than what it says in the miner, but that's because the dashboard is taking a 5 minute average. It'll catch up soon enough.
NOTE: A normal hashrate is between 50 Kh/s up to even 1 Mh/s depending on your GPU.

You're now mining Dogecoins

That's it, nothing more to it.

CPU MINING

CPU mining isn't really recommended, because you'll be spending a lot on more on power than you'd make from mining Dogecoin. You could better spend that money on buying Dogecoin by trading. But if you have free electricity and want to try it out, check out this informative forum post.

Trading

Trading has been difficult so far, but Dogecoin just got added to a few new exchanges. If you don't have a giant mining rig, this is probably the best way to get 100k or more dogecoins at the moment. I'll write up a more complete guide, but for now check out these sites:

Faucets

Faucets are sites that give out free coins. Usually a site will give out somewhere between 1 and 100 Dogecoin. Every site has its own time limits, but usually you can only receive coins once every few hours, or in some cases, days. It's a great way to get started. All you do is copy your address from the receive section of your wallet and enter it on some faucet sites. Check out /dogecoinfaucets for more. If you go to each site on there you might end up with a couple hundred Dogecoin!

Begging

This method is pretty straightforward. Post your receiving address, and ask for some coins. Such poor shibe. The only catch is, don't do it here! Please go to /dogecoinbeg.

Tips

At the moment there are two tip bots:
Other redditors can give you Dogecoin by summoning the tip bot, something like this:
+dogetipbot 5 doge
This might happen if you make a good post, or someone just wants to give out some coins. Once you receive a tip you have to accept it in a few days or else it'll get returned. Do this by following the instructions on the message you receive in your inbox. You reply to the bot with "+accept". Commands go in the message body. Once you do that, the bot will create a tipping address for you, and you can use the links in the message you receive to see your info, withdraw coins to your dogecoin-qt wallet, see your history, and a bunch of other stuff.
As a bonus, so_doge_tip has a feature where you can get some Dogecoins to start with in exchange for how much karma you have. To do this, send the message "+redeem DOGE" to so_doge_tip. You'll need to create a tipping account if you don't have one.
If you want to create a tipping account without ever being tipped first, message either of the bots with "+register" and an address will be created for you.
