Billionaire 'Bond King' Jeff Gundlach says stocks will crash, predicts a weaker dollar, and questions bitcoin in a new interview. Here are the 10 best quotes. | Currency News | Financial and Business News | Markets Insider
Stock markets are down. Gold and the EUR currency are going up. Bitcoin going down
Traditional investors are moving their money into assets outside the USA. Into gold and now even into the EURO currency. To invest in the EURO means you willing accept negative interest rates, so I only do that if I really think the US Dollar is going down not because I like Europe. If I am worried about the US Dollar, i'm a buyer of crypto, not a seller. Unfortunately that's not been the case recently as the correlation between bitcoin and the stock market has been positive. At some point it will matter. Just not sure when EDIT: if you are interested in hourly correlation between bitcoin and S&P500 (the stock market) its basically none over the past year. It moves up and down all the time. https://imgur.com/a/W8l6Gal
Discussion: Give me your best theory -- currency, stocks, bitcoin -- which will retain the most value over the next 12 months?
Let's have a discussion. I'm worried that government's printing of helicopter money is going to devalue my savings. But I'm also worried that my ETF Index Funds portfolio will lose a lot of money once the COVID-19 death numbers climb toward 1 million within 2-3 months. So should I take my current cash savings and buy ETF Index Funds at today's market price, to avoid currency devaluation from all the fiat printing that is happening right now? Should I sell my ETF Index Funds at today's market rate, and hold in currency to avoid the upcoming market losses as a result of further quarantine business losses and real-estate market collapse? Or should I buckle-down and move everything to Bitcoin, or a combination of ETF Index Funds and Bitcoin, knowing that Bitcoin is the only stable/known throughout this turmoil? Give me your best line-of-thought on my predicament!
Why don't we have stocks exchanges with bitcoin as currency yet?
Imagine if NASDAQ have their stock prices listed as bitcoin and gradually the whole society would be using it.
If u didn't understood my question here is a practical example: An exchange listing Facebook stock for 0.00344234 btc. Dividends on BTC too. brokerage fee on BTC too.
I know this isn't this simple. But I think we should think ways to be less exposed to governmental inefficiency like taxes on dividends. But I think that for better efficiency would be necessary these company to start working with BTC too.

If Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are supposed to be an alternative form of currency then why do people treat it like a stock and sell it for cash? Isn’t it acting more like an asset than it’s own currency?
Basically the title. Im 100% behind the idea of getting rid of govt backed currency but the way I see bitcoin is more akin to buying stocks and than a whole new form of currency. Is there a bigger picture Im missing? Thanks !
Are there any repercussions of a currency (in particular Bitcoin) being utilized by most people as a stock rather than being used to trade goods and services?
I don't know if this is the perfect place to ask this but the Austrian perspective is the one I want the answer from. It seems to me that many (if not most) of the people currently acquiring cryptocurrencies are doing so solely with the hopes that the value increases and they can then trade it for USD in a similar way that someone would trade stocks on the NYSE. I understand the reasoning behind being apprehensive to use it to exchange goods and services given the volatility of the exchange rate of the currency. You don't want to be the dude to pay a million dollars for pizza. My question is if this strategy negatively affects the value of the currency. Also, does anyone forsee mainstream cryptocurrencies finding a steady level in the near future such that it's no longer a risk to use them as intended?
